Dear Family of Lori,
Sadly I have been in Mexico for the past year finding out about her passing today. My heart aches as I truly miss Lori and send my condolences and deepest apologies for not having known earlier.
Our faith will unite us again one day dear friend...until then - rest in peace. Love, Sherry

Blessings on Lori's passing. Lori was so much fun! Her energy and spirit was a joy to be around. At Circa 21 we enjoyed her delightful humor and talent- whether she was singing, acting, or Bootlegging. Lori loved music and had a big heart which she shared with all who were near and dear to her.
Her dear friend Shane Partlow let me know of Lori's passing. She is in our prayers. Jennie May

My heart aches for the family of the beautiful Lori Mariner. I was lucky to have had many happy times with Lori doing her hair and just hanging out at the house with her and Bill. I will miss you terribly but I know your with my uncle steve and watching over me. Love you

Lori was always a fun, unique, talented and loving person, she could find the funny in the most mundane situation, she had such a beautiful smile that matched her soul-I love you Lori and will always think of you when I hear a beautiful song, especially showtunes! May your next journey be endless my friend-love always.

I was in Jr High and High School with Lori. I always remember her being bubbly and happy outgoing young lady. I have followed her on fb and was very saddened to hear of her passing. Angels in Heaven need her for something geeater. Prayers to her family. RIP, Lori. You will be missed.

Gail and Family,

I was so shocked and saddened to learn about Lori's death. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family and all of Lori's friends.

I remember our childhood years on 26th Ave Ct in East Moline. Lori was such and very kind person. I know how very hard it is to lose a sister. My middle sister Melinda passed away 21 years ago this July 4th from a brain tumor. As we know our sisters are in heaven in a much better place free from pain and suffering and we both have our very own guardian angels. However, while that eases the pain from losing them here on earth, we still hurt from the loss. My advice is to take it one day at a time and hold close to you all of the wonderful memories of time spent with Lori, no one can ever take them away and they will help you in the difficult days ahead. Time tends to heal the hurt to a point, but if you are like me a part of me went with my sister the day she died and life is never really quite the same.

Gail if you would like, I would love to get together sometime, just give me a call 563-370-0832. And I feel really bad, but my Mom and I have a commitment on Saturday and we will not be able to be at her services, but know that I will be thinking about you and your loved ones, now and in the days to come. Sending you hugs!!

So sorry for you loss. Lori was a classmate of mine who shared a love for music and theatre. I was a year younger than her and looked up to her for advise. Always the best dressed and so talented! Prayers to you all.

I loved Lori. I met her not long after moving to the QCs in 1993. We didn't see much of each other but when we did, it was always with laughter and love that we reunited. The parties at her house were always fun. Her spirit was always uplifting and we enjoyed sharing our birth date. We considered ourselves soul sisters.. My sympathy to Bill and her family. A bright star is shining in the heavens now.

To the family, I'm sorry to learn about all this from a few days ago. She was a friend of our family and enjoyed singing in the choir at Zion Lutheran years ago with my mother. I've had quite a few years participating with Lori in band and swing choir, very enjoyable, she was always fun. Hugs to you all and I'll keep you all in my thoughts.
