You have our deepest sympathy. We only just learned of Dick's passing. We've known Dick and Elaine since the early 70's. Worked with Dick on many projects for The Rock Island Booster Club. He was great to work with and always very respectful. Our sympathy and condolences to all of his family.

Very sad to read the news of Dick's passing. I had the pleasure of working with Dick on a couple occasions at the Arsenal. I enjoyed a long and prosperous career at the Arsenal thanks to Dick. He hired me as an automotive technician. In the middle 80s I worked in Equipment management with Dick until his retirement.

I never met any of Dicks family but felt compelled or more so obligated to say a few good words about a man that had a huge impact on my working career. For all left to remember Dick I am sure you have a great amount of respect for the man, as I surely do. May all the good memories last forever. I know Dick is resting in a good place, that should be of comfort to all that new him.

My sympathy to Dick's family. I worked with Dick at the Arsenal from the time he was a Locomotive operator to a union president and finally as a manager of a sizable unit.. In every capacity Dick took his job seriously, respected others and was just a fine guy with which to work. Rest well, Dick.
