I have not seen Linda for many years. As a new graduate of MPH in 1974 she was my nursing supervisor in Monmouth and someone that influenced me a a nurse. I will always fondly remember her wonderful laugh and smile. You are in my prayers at this difficult time.

I'm so sorry to hear of Linda's passing. I work as a Patient Mobility Specialist at Unity Point and enjoyed walking with Linda. She would tell me about the years that she worked with my Mother-in-Law (Pat Hardin) at MPH & UMC and how times have changed in nursing from then until now. I'm sure Linda and Pat are reminiscing about old times.

Al, Katie, Rich and Mary,

My condolences on the loss of your wife, mother and sister. You have lost a most wonderful person. You were blessed by having such a high quality of person as a valuable part of your life.

Linda and I were very close friemds in high school. After 50 years we finally saw each other again this past June. It was such a pleasant experience being with her as she was her usual upbeat, friendly warm self.. Next to "Friend" in the dictionary is her picture for she was a friend in the finest meaning of the word.

May you each find your own internal peace from your loss..

Chuck Ramer

Linda was one of the finest women I know. We were close in high school but drifted apart after I moved to Chicago. Was very glad I could visit with her a few days before she passed. May your memories comfort you always.

To Linda's family I send my deepest sympathy. Although I haven't seen Linda since our 3rd shift working days at Moline Public/United Medical Center, she was always remembered whenever any of us coworkers spoke of the "good old hospital days." We were such a family back then. I did keep tabs on her through Lisa. Linda was such a soft spoken yet efficient house supervisor. Hang tight to the memories......Rest in Peace Linda.

Al, Katie, Rich, and Mary Elizabeth,
I am so very sorry for your loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Linda was such a joy to be around, and she was a role model to me. She truly made the world a better place, and I am honored to have known her while growing up in Roseville and attending college in the Quad Cities. I know that many years have passed since that time, but Linda will always hold a very special place in my heart. You have my deepest sympathy. Sincerely, Cyntha Coordes Slavish

Linda was a phenomenal woman and a tireless advocate for children. Her strong leadership of the Helpline for Parents assisted hundreds of parents with the hardest job in the world...parenting. She was easily one of the finest employees I had the honor to hire and supervise at the Child Abuse Council. Her love for her family was evident in every aspect of her work. My heartfelt condolences to Al, Katie and Bryan.

I have lost a dear, sweet friend, whom I've know since we started second-grade together. We had slumber parties at her Grandma's house, went bowling together, attended ballgames, pizza parties, and school events together, and were nearly inseparable through HS. She was there at my wedding, and again, in the delivery room, as a nurse, when my daughter was born. Then our lives and careers took us on separate paths. Only in retirement did we find the time to really renew our old friendship. Through it all, and even throughout her illness, Linda remained the most selfless and people-centered person I have had the privilege to know. Her family was always foremost in her life, and her focus was always on others, rather than herself. I am proud to have been her friend, and I will miss her and her happy ways forever. Rest In Peace, Linda. My most sincere condolences go out to all her family members that she loved so much. May your happy memories bring you comfort.
