Leann & Family, so sorry to hear of Russ' passing. I will remember his fun spirit. I remember on vacation in Mexico, he jumped in the water next to the cruise ship, police came & we thought we would be lucky to get out of there alive !! He also gave me a Rose of Sharon tree that was no bigger than a pencil, but he assured me it would grow. He was right, I have divided that and now 10+ trees, all from that one little stick. I will think of him each spring when they bloom. Peace & prayers.

I was so surprise and saddened to open the newspaper and see this obituary! Russ helped me a number of times, sharing his ability to repair my well and build a beautiful deck. The last time I saw him he was helping with an election and although it had been a few years since I had seen him, he gave me a BIG hug. I often thought about him as I drove on Airport Road.

Russ was in my LUTCF (Life Underwriters Training Council) a wonderful person and colleague for many years while he was in the insurance business. To the Whiteside Family I am so sorry for your loss.
